Is PP Material Suitable for Chemical Packaging Products?

With low density, PP products feature light weight, which reduces the cost of transportation and handling. The material has stable rigidity and impact resistance. PP possesses reliable processing performance and can be manufactured into various packaging products, including plastic barrels, woven bags, bulk bags, sealed storage tanks and chemical turnover boxes. Its specifications and structures can be adjusted flexibly. There is a clear classification of food-grade and industrial-grade PP materials. Special industrial PP formulas can be modified according to the characteristics of different chemical materials to further improve solvent resistance, low-temperature resistance and aging resistance.
Conventional PP is not applicable for long-term contact with strong oxidizing media and high-concentration strong corrosive chemicals. Modified PP materials can be adopted for such special chemical products to enhance corrosion resistance through formula adjustment.
